Discussion about Christianity and mental health

Dr. Patricia Boyce has a master's degree in counseling and a doctorate in psychology. An accredited and licensed counselor with more than 20 years in practice, Boyce offers a Christian perspective using Biblical principles integrated with evidence-based psychological theories. She believes we all struggle with anger, anxiety, depression and grief at some point in our lives, it just shows differently in different people. She has learned from personal experience that we do not have to struggle alone. Making connections helps us to feel less "crazy" and more able to navigate through those times by identifying our needs, learning new skills, and maintaining boundaries. Her desire to empower others prompted her to write this easy to read book on how to travel through times of struggle with grace and self-compassion. Her recently published book Light for the Journey through Dry Bone Valley drawing from personal experiences and spiritual insights, this uplifting resource offers encouragement and guidance for navigating through seasons of darkness towards the light of hope and restoration.
