I am an Artist Manager for MikeManik (Kanye East) with over 15 years in the entertainment industry

Matthew Filipkowski but people call me Matty Flip. I like to think of myself as a multifaceted business man. I've always had a passion for technology and music for as long as I can remember and my mother was a Karaoke and Special Event DJ in the 90's. I took over the business after I graduated Highschool. I spent the better part of my 20's honing my craft as a DJ, networking and pitching myself for nightclub gigs and really learning the business side of the being a DJ entertainment industry. In my late 20's I traveled to California. I uncovered a hidden talent for visual arts, setting my sights on learning more about filming, video editing, and graphic design. This newfound passion pushed me into a continuous quest for self-improvement and artistic evolution. I wanted to meet more people who could teach me how to be better at what I was doing. In 2022 I met Mike (MikeManik / Kanye East) through a live streaming platform that I was partnered on and after getting to know one another over the next year he asked me to be his video editor. In 2023 I took on more responsibility and became his manager and have been working on honing my craft as an artist manager over the last year and a half while also utilizing my skills and experience as a DJ with mixing and mastering his music as well as producing, filming and editing music videos and social media content. I have an unquenchable thirst for learning, networking and visual and sonic arts and THAT is why I believe that I will continue to deliver more breathtaking and innovative work as I continue to grow in my artistic and business endeavors.
